The PMRCPMRC (Pastoral & Matrimonial Renewal Centre) an international organisation of lay Catholics, clergy and religious dedicated to providing innovative programs and resources for parishes and communities. At the heart of its activities are its insights into Matrimony, sexuality and lay empowerment.

Marriage Resource CentreThe Marriage Resource Centre (MRC) is a positive, solution-oriented organisation that has a core Catholic ethos. Their work is deeply formed by the Theology of the Body and seeks to integrate Catholic theology with insights and frameworks from modern psychology and relationship theory. MRC provides support for all seasons of marriage through SmartLoving courses, conferences, talks and multi-media educational resources.
Focus on the FamilySince 1993, Focus on the Family Australia have been helping to strengthen families and communities through its radio programs, preventative education programs, the provision of counselling and referral, as well as providing a full range of resources for families.

CCAA The Christian Counsellors Association (CCAA) exists to further the reputation and professional development of Australian counsellors who practice within a framework of Christian values. We provide a valuable resource for members of the public to connect with counsellors in their area who can provide professional counselling services whilst upholding and reflecting the cornerstones of our spirituality.

A Worldwide Marriage Encounter is a weekend away, offering married couples a special kind of “time out”, a different kind of “weekend getaway”. It is an opportunity to recharge your relationship batteries and more deeply explore the precious nature of your marriage. It offers a gentle, nurturing environment, away from the pressures and distractions of daily living. Thus, it allows you both to share your feelings, hopes and dreams with each other in ways that normal, daily living tends to inhibit.

It is a 7-session course in a dinner party setting where couples learn to re-energize and build communication, to resolve conflict, forgive and so much more within their marriage. Prepare EnrichPrepare-Enrich is a customised couple assessment that identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counselling and premarital education and is also used for marriage counselling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. In Australia, Prepare-Enrich has provided training coordination and quality administration and development services since 1979, supporting its mission to “build strong marriages and healthy relationships”.

The Marriage CourseMost people who are getting married prepare and plan for many things in life: education, career, retirement and holidays. They also spend up to 250 hours planning their wedding, but very little time, if any, planning for married life. The Marriage Preparation Course is a 5 session course at which couples will listen to practical talks that are informative and fun. There is no group work and you will never be asked to share anything about your relationship with anyone other than your partner. Better Marriages AustraliaBetter Marriages Australia is an organisation which exists to enhance and enrich the marital relationship between a man and a woman. They supports couples who value their marriage and want their relationship to be strong and enduring, couples who want to learn skills and have experiences that help them increase their marital intimacy and mutual understanding, couples committed to the present and future growth of their marriage and couples interested in promoting healthy marriages in their community. Activities include weekend marriage enrichment retreats, shorter seminars and local support groups, training of marriage enrichment leader couples and the publication of regular newsletters and conferences.

Growing Together in Marriage South AustraliaGrowing Together in Marriage, South Australia offers a full residential weekend run at various venues at least five times per year, where you can: Take time out from your busy lives to focus on each other; celebrate the positives of your relationship; deepen your communication; enrich your marriage – no matter how long you have been together!; Hear leaders share honestly and often with humour from their marriages… but you are NOT asked to share publicly.

United Marriage EncounterUnited Marriage Encounter is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to improving marriages by introducing practical, ongoing communication tools over the course of a 48-hour Weekend experience. The Weekend combines practical methods, sound psychology, and Christian values to improve communication between husband and wife. After initial introductions, no other group sharing is required. Each couple will be given enough time to talk privately, free from the distractions of everyday life.
